An alternative education program giving students 16-21 an opportunity to gain credits needed to graduate with a high school diploma.
The after school program provides credited academic instruction in: Communication arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
High School credit earned is ties to the Missouri Show Me Standards and is competency-based. Students who have previously attended 60 hours in the class for which credit is needed are required to attend 30 hours of instruction and test at the 75th percentile. May have one absence only.
3:00 to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday.
Kirksville Area Technical Center Room 7 and Room 28 for Math.
Students should contact their high school counselor for additional enrollment information.
Students in Adair, Knox, Sullivan, and Schuyler counties are eligible for the After School Recovery Program.
$100 per ½ credit. See Ms. Feeney or Ms. Truitt for enrollment in the program. Enrollment is limited and new classes begin every ten weeks.
