Depth of Field

•   Depth of field is the range of distance in a picture that is in sharp focus.  When depth of field is short, only objects close to the subject appear sharply focused.  With large depth of field, most objects in the picture are in focus. Both of my depth of field pictures are short depth of field. You could also classify them as in perspective. You want to take them where they either get smaller or bigger the farther back into the distance it goes. I did this with the piano and the fence.
