MCTM Middle School Mathematics contest in Hannibal:
7th/8th grade Algebra contest- Miles Krusniak earned second place and Richard Ma earned third place and both qualified to compete at the state competition later this month. Also, the team consisting of Miles Krusniak, Richard Ma, Isiah Slater and Audrey Vazzana won the 7th / 8th grade team competition and will also go onto the state level competition.

Lauren Kramer, 7th grader at Kirksville Middle School, won first place with her individual web-site at the State National History Day competition in Columbia, MO, this Sat., April 20th. Lauren hopes to compete at the National competition in Washington D.C June 9-13, 2013. Lauren's web-site "Dust to Diamonds to Dust: William P. Hall". Her web site was also awarded two special prize: Folk History and Local History. William P. Hall was a Schuyler Co. resident who became horse king of the world and was a circus entrepreneur.
