Brad Hudson started with the Kirksville School District in the fall of 2007. He spent six years teaching for the Leeton R-X School District. Mr. Hudson graduated from Kirksville High School in 1995. He went to Culver-Stockton College and majored in trombone performance. After graduating from C-SC in 1999 with a BA he became a graduate teaching assistant with the Kansas State University band department. In 2001 Hudson graduated from Kansas State University with a Master of Music degree, emphasizing in education and conducting.

Karen Harrison started teaching in the Kirksville School District in 2002. Before this, she taught for the Palmyra School District for three years. Mrs. Harrison graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1993 and attended Truman State University; there she earned her BA and Masters in education.
