We are excited that 143 KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS have enrolled for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. Please spread the word to any families in our community that have incoming Kindergarten students that have yet to enroll.
All families with incoming Kindergarten students (or students that are new to the district) can enroll students at the Board of Education Building located at 1901 East Hamilton Street.
All students entering the 12th grade are required to have two doses of MCV unless the first dose is administered on or after the age of 16, then only one dose is required.
Please see your physician or the Adair County Health Department to have your child up to date before the school year.
All verification of immunizations needs to be emailed, faxed, mailed or dropped off to your student's school office.
Please click on links provided to view and print school supply lists. Lists are also available at local stores.
*Students in 7th and 8th grade will receive supply lists the first week of school.
Living in Northeast Missouri presents our school district with many challenges dealing with adverse weather. At times, severe weather conditions at 6:00 a.m. are much improved one or two hours later making it safe to continue school activities. The Kirksville R-III School District will begin using the option of a two-hour delayed start to the school day for inclement weather or other emergencies.
The need to close or delay the opening of our schools for the safety of our students and staff is a decision we take very seriously. We understand students are better served both academically and socially by being in school, however, student and staff welfare is our top priority.
