Kirksville R-III School District Meal Charging Policy

It is the goal of Kirksville R-III School District Food Service to provide students with healthy meals each day. In doing so, unpaid meal charges place a financial burden on our Food Service Department. This policy intends to provide uniform meal account procedures throughout the Kirksville R-III School District. The policy pertains to regular priced breakfast, lunches and ala carte items.

A student will be allowed to charge a maximum of five (5) meals to their account after the balance reaches zero. The meal will include a cheese sandwich for Primary students, a Peanut Butter Sandwich for Ray Miller students and a cold ham or turkey sandwich for Middle School in addition to fruit, vegetable and milk.
