Close Contact Process-Revised
We are excited for our students to be back on campus and look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide them with a quality, equitable and student-centered educational experience.
We want to make you aware that on August 31, 2021 the District was informed by the Adair County Health Department of changes to their previous statement for school close contact persons from “requiring” asymptomatic students who return to school to wear a mask during quarantine, to “strongly recommending” that this be done. The district will continue to follow the guidance from our local health officials, as well as, the Attorney General's office regarding class action lawsuits against schools enforcing mask mandates. You can reference the School Close Contact form under COVID Information/SRCSP on our website.
We remain committed to the health and safety of our students and staff. We have in place protocols we feel will keep our district safe to the best of our current knowledge and recommendations. We will continue to monitor the positive cases within our schools and revisit our plans as warranted. We are grateful for the community support we continue to receive and encourage families to continue to implement healthy practices at home. The safety and education of our students continues to be our top priority. We thank you for your support as we look forward to a great school year.
