Supplemental Educational Services
Eligible* students attending the Kirksville School District will be offered Supplemental Educational Services (SES) during second semester of the 2011/2012 school year. A Session II provider fair has been scheduled to take place Tuesday, January 10th, 2012. SES providers/tutoring programs will be on site to share a description of their program, qualifications of tutors, and information related to effectiveness. The event will be held in the Kirksville R-III Central Offices Boardroom (1901 East Hamilton) between the times of 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m. SES Student enrollment will take place within the window of January 10th to January 30th. If you would be interested in more information, please contact the Curriculum Office by phone @ 660-665-7774.


*Free tutoring through SES is only offered to students who are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch

State District and Building Report Cards Now Available

The State of Missouri does not rank or compare public school districts or school buildings.  Instead, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education compiles an annual report card for each district and building.  Parents and concerned patrons are encouraged to use this report to identify and explore important statistics about the Kirksville School District.  Activate the “Policies and State Info” drop down bar then choose the “DESE” option.  After entering the data portal, use the drop down prompt to select the “Kirksville School District”.  Links to both the School and District Report Cards are located near the bottom of the “Summary” section.  Of course, if you have questions please do not hesitate to call or email Mike Bartig, Director of Curriculum and Instruction @ 660-665-7774, or mbartig@kirksville.k12.mo.us for technical support.
