Bus evacuation drills for the semester will be completed on school grounds Tuesday, October 31, 2023. During on campus, morning drop-offs, all bus riders will learn safe evacuation procedures from their drivers, then practice exiting the bus quickly, quietly, and safely. Various teachers and staff will be on hand to assist drivers and monitor students during the process.
Bus evacuation drills are required by the State of Missouri to ensure that students are aware of what to do in an emergency situation.

October is National Principals Month and we are taking time to appreciate all of our building principals and assistant principals here at Kirksville R-III. Today we spotlight Mrs. Meghan Martin at KPS!
Mrs. Martin is another of our district principals who is not only a proud Kirksville Tiger now; but she also graduated from KHS. She is very happy to be serving her hometown school district and we are happy to have her.
Thank you Mrs. Martin for everything you do as an educational leader for our students, staff, and community! Thank you! #kvproud #kvtigers #welovekirksville

The students at KPS have collaborated to create a new display. Using lines and colors each student created a unique design. All together the 560 designs fit together to create an amazing work of art.

Don't Forget!

Thank you to First Christian Church for their generous donation of warm winter items!❄️ KPS and our families are so thankful for all of the community donations we receive to help our students when there is a need to be met. 🐯

A huge "THANK YOU" to everyone who donated their time and resources to our 2nd Annual Red Ribbon Rally!!! The students had a lot of fun while learning the importance of living a healthy lifestyle! We truly hope the work we do alongside our community will help us all to grow stronger and healthier together. 🎀

October is National Principals Month and we are taking time to appreciate all of our building principals and assistant principals here at Kirksville R-III. Today we spotlight Mrs. Diana Johnson at KPS!
Mrs. Johnson, when asked if she ever had to go to the principal's office as a student, replied, "Absolutely not. I am an avid rule follower!"
We are proud of you for that Mrs. Johnson; but more importantly we are proud of you for everything you do as an educational leader for our students, staff, and community! Thank you! #kvproud #kvtigers #welovekirksville

October is National Principals Month and we are taking time to appreciate all of our building principals and assistant principals here in Kirksville R-III. Today we spotlight Mr. Jesse Wolf at KATC!
Mr. Wolf told us, when asked about going to the principal's office as a student, "Let's just say it was a huge surprise to some of my former teachers, whom I have since apologized, that I decided to get into education. I was not the model student." We like that honesty.
It sounds like Mr. Wolf has found his passion and his favorite role within our district. When asked of his favorite thing about Kirksville R-III, he gave us this answer:
"In my specific position, I am blessed with the opportunity to connect state-of-the-art equipment and resources to some of our blue-collar professions. Kirksville R-III and the school board have never wavered from purchasing the tools necessary to prepare our students for whatever their future may entail. I have seen students from almost all of our programs go to college or directly into their specific trades, and not only become successful, but very quickly be placed in leadership roles. These are accomplishments that they most likely didn't think were possible, at one time. As with most educators, my reward lies in the success of our students and some of the amazing opportunities put before them by our instructors and the Kirksville R-III School District."
Mr. Wolf, thank you for everything you do as an educational leader for our students, staff, and community! #kvproud #kvtigers #welovekirksville
