Please help us welcome Mrs. Maren Austic, new business teacher at the Kirksville Area Technical Center!
Maren is a Kirksville High School graduate, who is excited to be back in her home district after earning her bachelor's degree. For Maren, the best part of teaching is building relationships with her students and watching them grow throughout the year!

Please help us welcome Mrs. Shelby Munden, new teaching careers instructor at Kirksville!
Shelby brings eleven years of experience to the role, having taught a wide variety of subjects and grade levels spanning all the way from Pre-K through twelfth grade. She earned her bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and her master's from Southeastern OSU. For Shelby, the best part of teaching is making strong connections with her students, getting the opportunity to be their cheerleader and share her passion for education along the way.
Outside of school, Shelby loves to travel, read, and spend time with her husband and kids. As a big sports family, you can usually find them in the stands or on the sidelines.

Please help us welcome Ms. Katie Miley to her new role as the Missouri Option and WorkKeys teacher at Kirksville Area Technical Center!
Katie will not be a new face to the tech center, she has served as its secretary for the past 11 years! She is a KHS graduate herself and earned her bachelor's degree from Stephens College in Columbia. As she steps into the classroom, Katie is most excited about getting to know her students and building connections with them throughout the year.
Outside of school, Katie enjoys spending as much time as possible with her 19-year-old daughter, Addy (who attends UCM), her parents, and her two crazy dogs, Sadie and Kris.

We never know what Missouri winter has planned for us, but our school year calendar accounts for this. May includes make up days labeled "MU." So far, we only have four hours to make up! That will put us into May 23rd. Stay tuned for surprises!

Look y'all, we want to have school so bad tomorrow (Tues. 1/23/24) so we don't have to go in June. We are planning on a regular start and regular snow routes for the morning. But just in case the weather doesn't cooperate, make sure to put your wipers up and stay tuned.
