Happy National Coaches Day! You win some, and you lose some. You’ve taught all of the students that knowing how to do both gracefully is important. Thank you for teaching our students this critical life lesson and the various aspects of being a teammate and the detailed components of playing sports.

Career and Technical Education, CTE, provides what is needed to succeed in life: technical skills, academic skills, and employability skills. Regardless of whether students are headed for college or the workforce, this type of education will help prepare them for the future. (SkillsUSA, 2020). Kirksville Area Technical Center (KATC) credit is recognized by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and becomes a part of the secondary student’s permanent high school record. Credit received from the Kirksville Area Technical Center counts toward high school graduation and college entrance requirements. KATC courses are designed to prepare you for continuing education and workforce success which means you are doing, making, creating, fixing, building, painting, designing, repairing, planting, growing, analyzing, interacting, experimenting, solving, and researching!
