Happy Monday and welcome to winter weather '24! We want to let everyone know that we make weather decisions, most importantly, to keep our students and staff safe. Secondly, we try hard to make them in a timely manner for everyone to make plans.

Kirksville Schools want to stand with other schools across our nation and send our condolences for the events that happened in Perry, Iowa yesterday. We want to remind our own community that we continue to prepare for worst case scenarios within our district through active shooter training for all buildings.

Wishing everyone a successful 2024! Consider working for one of Adair County's largest employers, we are seeking evening custodians.

May your days be merry and bright.

Our Tech Center ups the game on everything they do. We hope under your tree was as full this morning as the auto department's wrench tree was! If you are picking a holiday movie to watch with the family today, we recommend any from these door decorating competition theme movies. Way to set the bar high, KATC, as always!

Monday, 12/18, KATC engineering program students collabed with KPS STEM program students on an egg drop challenge. Primary student teams were given materials to pick from and time to design a device to help their eggs land safely. KATC and KPS worked together through the entire design and building process. Then the egg-dropping fun began! Mrs. Amy Carriker is the STEM program instructor at KPS and Mr. Rich Chapman is the engineering instructor at KATC.
